What you'll contribute to

As an Electrical & Instrumentation Tradesperson, you will play a key role in keeping Wivenhoe Power Station running safely and reliably. Your work ensures equipment performs safely and reliably, supporting energy supply across Queensland.

In this role you will:

• Deliver preventative and corrective maintenance across electrical, instrumentation and control systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve plant faults to minimise downtime and maintain production
• Support outage planning, shutdowns and commissioning activities
• Work with engineers, operators and contractors to deliver safe, high-quality maintenance outcomes
• Identify improvement opportunities that increase plant reliability, efficiency and asset life

This role works a full-time 4 day 36.25 hour Mon to Thurs roster a full-time and is based locally at CleanCo’s Wivenhoe Power Station, with participation in an on-call roster once trained.

On your first day we expect you to have:

• Electrical trade qualification with a Queensland Electrical Workers Licence
• Certificate III in Instrumentation and Control
• Experience in maintenance within power generation or heavy industry
• Ability to diagnose faults and solve technical problems methodically
• Experience using maintenance systems and interpreting technical drawings
• Ability to collaborate with teams, contractors and stakeholders
