About the Opportunity

As the Electrical Engineer based at Kareeya Hydro Power Station, you will play a critical role in delivering engineering solutions that enhance the reliability, performance, and compliance of CleanCo’s power generation assets.

You’ll contribute to asset strategies, manage electrical infrastructure projects, and support site leadership to ensure our operations meet technical, safety, and environmental standards.

This is a permanent, site-based role requiring residence within one hour of Tully. Relocation support is available. You’ll also act as site manager when needed and provide mentoring to graduate engineers.

About you

• You are a degree qualified Electrical Engineer with RPEQ certification (or an ability to obtain in the next 6-18 months)
• You have sound knowledge of electrical engineering and relish the challenge of both implementing and managing systems in a complex, multi-site environment.
• HV operations or production engineering experience would be great.
• You love the challenge that variety and diversity across a range of business needs brings and can apply your depth and breadth of knowledge to CleanCo, bringing innovation and your leading-edge practice to solutions.  
• You demonstrate an aptitude for problem solving coupled with an ability to build strong working relationships with both key stakeholders and external providers. 
• You have a passion to be part of something bigger than yourself, that contributes to the delivery of renewable, reliable and affordable energy for Queensland.
