What you’ll contribute to
As a Senior Legal Counsel, you will provide pragmatic legal and commercial advice across CleanCo’s major infrastructure, construction and energy projects. This includes supporting large-scale project delivery, procurement, maintenance programs and outages, while partnering closely with leaders and delivery teams.
You will:
• Deliver practical legal advice across construction, procurement, commercial and project matters
• Support major infrastructure projects including generation assets and gas-related projects
• Draft, review and negotiate complex contracts aligned to CleanCo’s risk framework
• Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, balancing legal risk with commercial outcomes
• Collaborate with external legal advisors and manage matters efficiently
• Mentor and support junior lawyers within the Legal & Governance team

This role is full-time, permanent and based in Brisbane with a standard hybrid work model. Occasional site visits may be required.
On your first day we expect you to have
• Admission as a lawyer in Queensland with an unrestricted practising certificate
• 7+ years post-qualification experience in-house or in a large law firm
• Experience supporting infrastructure, construction or major projects
• Strong contract drafting and negotiation capability
• Ability to provide clear legal advice in written, verbal or preferred formats
• A practical, commercial mindset and comfort working across diverse matters
