About the Opportunity

Reporting to the Development Director, the Project Manager will lead the delivery of large-scale renewable energy projects. In this role, you’ll oversee project teams, manage key stakeholder relationships, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard. This is a chance to contribute to Queensland’s clean energy transition while working in a collaborative and purpose-driven environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Project assurance – lead project meetings and oversight, ensuring consistent project management, quality assurance, schedule and cost control, and proactive risk mitigation across all activities.
• Lead internal approvals process – own the development of documentation and presentations needed for Board and Shareholding Minister approval of CleanCo’s investment in new projects.
• Stakeholder engagement – build and maintain strong internal and external stakeholder relationships, ensuring clear communication, alignment on project goals, and adequate resourcing.
• Contract management – act as a Principal’s Representative, monitoring contractor performance, managing claims, ensuring compliance, and escalating risks as needed.
• Report to Senior Leadership – provide regular, clear reporting to executive leadership and the Board, outlining progress, emerging risks, and key decisions to support transparent governance and informed decision-making.

About you

• You have experience in successfully delivering large-scale development projects to successful Financial Investment Decision within similar industries or commercial environments.
• Detailed planning and project management skills, with a strong track record of delivering safe, high-quality project outcomes.
• Demonstrated expertise in commercial management, including contract administration and financial oversight of complex projects.
• Experience in contractor management and effective contract negotiation.
• Strong technical proficiency in project management systems, tools, and methodologies.
• Ability to communicate complex information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills.
• Tertiary qualifications in Project Management, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline are highly regarded.
