About the Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated Project Engineer - Grid to join our Strategy and Development team. Reporting to the Engineering Manager - Development, you will play a pivotal role in the engineering and technical development of our renewable energy projects. This is your opportunity to be at the forefront of renewable energy projects, collaborating with diverse stakeholders and making a tangible impact on the environment. Here’s what you’ll do:

• Drive Project Strategy: Collaborate with leadership and key stakeholders to deliver CleanCo’s strategic objectives and enhance project efficiencies.
• Manage Engineering Development: Lead technical approvals and deliver engineering solutions, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets.
• Engage Stakeholders: Foster relationships with internal and external partners, ensuring clear communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
• Mitigate Risks: Proactively identify project risks and implement strategies to ensure successful outcomes while maintaining safety and quality standards.

About you

• Experience in grid analysis and connection processes within the renewable development or consulting sectors in Australia.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
• Experience with PSSE and/or PSCAD software.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Engineering; RPEQ registration and Project Management credentials would be an advantage.
• Proven project and commercial management skills, risk identification, and mitigation expertise.
• You have a passion to be part of something bigger than yourself, that contributes to the delivery of a clean energy future crafted in Queensland.
