About the Opportunity

Reporting to the Financial Reporting Specialist, the Tax Accountant is responsible for managing the company’s tax obligations, ensuring compliance with state, and federal tax laws. This role involves, managing tax-related matters, and providing guidance on tax-related issues. The role also includes ensuring compliance with financial regulations and maintaining accurate financial records.

This is a permanent, full-time opportunity based from our Brisbane office with the flexibility to work from home.

About you

To be successful in this role you must have:

• Tertiary degree in business, accounting or finance.
• CPA/CA or equivalent certification preferred.
• Experience with corporate tax, GST and financial compliance.
• Strong understanding of Australian Taxation Laws.
• Strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Aptitude in using accounting systems and software experience with SAP S/4 Hana is desirable.
• You have a passion to be part of something bigger than yourself, that contributes to the delivery of a clean energy future crafted in Queensland.
