About the Opportunity

As an Environmental Advisor at CleanCo, you will support the delivery of effective environmental management across a diverse portfolio of low-emission generation assets.

Working closely with site teams and the broader Asset Operations support functions, you will provide practical environmental advice, support compliance activities, and contribute to the ongoing improvement of CleanCo’s Environmental Management System (EMS). Your work will help ensure environmental obligations are met while enabling operational teams to deliver safe, reliable and sustainable energy.

This role offers exposure to a range of environmental management activities including monitoring and reporting, assurance and audits, incident investigations, and the implementation of environmental initiatives across multiple sites.

You will be part of a collaborative and technically capable environmental team that values practical solutions, knowledge sharing and continuous improvement. The role provides strong development opportunities while also offering meaningful responsibility and impact from day one.

About you

• You have exposure to providing environmental advice across diverse operational environments and engaging with a broad workforce. You adopt a proactive and collaborative approach, supporting the business to understand environmental risks, obligations and practical solutions.
• You are familiar with environmental compliance and relevant environmental authorities including the management of permits and licencing requirements.
• You thrive in a continuous improvement environment, offering skills in environmental inspections through to recommendations for improvements and impact reduction projects.
• Essential to your success is a degree qualification in a relevant field along with experience in front line support to sites completing similar high risk works. Travel to all sites in the CleanCo portfolio may be required.
• You have a passion to be part of something bigger than yourself, that contributes to the delivery of low emission, renewable, reliable and affordable energy for Queensland
