About Us

At CleanCo, we’re not just building Queensland’s clean energy future - we’re building the kind of workplace where people thrive. We’re looking for a strategic, human-centred leader to take our employee experience to the next level.

We own and operate more than 1GW of low emission energy generation and we are actively growing our portfolio to help propel Queensland’s energy transformation.

We are a passionate, inclusive team committed to creating a clean energy future for Queensland. If our mission resonates with you, consider a career with CleanCo.

About the Opportunity

As our Employee Experience (EX) Manager, you’ll lead the design and delivery of enterprise-wide initiatives that shape how our people experience work — from talent and EVP to capability, DEIB, and culture. You’ll guide a high-performing team and work closely with senior leaders to embed inclusive, future-focused practices across the employee lifecycle.

This role is based in our Brisbane CBD office with the flexibility to work from home 2 days per week, and will include occasional travel to our power generation assets across QLD.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Driving EX strategy, frameworks, and tools that shape culture, capability and inclusion
  • Generate impact through talent KPIs, workforce planning, and internal mobility
  • Deliver high-impact, low-cost EX solutions in a budget-constrained environment
  • Supporting transformational change and continuous improvement
  • Providing strategic advice and insights to senior leaders and the Board

About you

You bring senior P&C leader experience with a track record of delivering impact across the full EX spectrum —whether you’ve owned the full EX journey in a smaller organisation or contributed to high-performing EX functions in larger, complex environments.

To be successful in this role you will bring:

•    Strategic depth across EX domains, with experience leading initiatives that drive culture, capability and inclusion.
•    A mindset for impact, balancing strategic thinking with practical delivery, and a drive to lead a team toward measurable outcomes –especially in talent and workforce planning.
•    Agility and adaptability, with the ability to navigate a dynamic employment market and evolving organisational systems.
•    Human-centered design expertise, with a passion for creating meaningful, inclusive experiences across the employee lifecycle.
•    Strong stakeholder engagement and leadership capability, that enables you to influence across diverse teams and senior levels.
•    Tertiary qualifications, preferably in Human Resources Management, Organisational Psychology, Business Management, or related discipline.
•    A passion to be part of something bigger than yourself, that contributes to the delivery of a clean energy future crafted in Queensland.

We encourage applications from neurodivergent people, people with disability, First Nations people, and those from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds. Adjustments to the recruitment process are available on request.
