About the Opportunity

As a Commercial Advisor in our Strategy & Development team and reporting to the Origination Manager, you'll play a crucial role in supporting CleanCo's renewable energy projects. You'll provide essential contractual, commercial, and analytical advice, helping us navigate market trends, identify growth opportunities, and ensure successful project and investment execution. Your insights and expertise will guide our business decisions and support the development of our renewable energy portfolio. In your new role, your duties will include:

• Business Case Development: Create decision support materials, evaluate risks, and prepare recommendations for renewable energy projects.
• Reporting & Contract Management: Prepare management reports, support contract management, and assist in integrating agreements into our portfolio.
• Market Monitoring & Analysis: Analyse market data and provide recommendations to senior leaders.
• Commercial Negotiations: Support commercial negotiations and execution of Offtake Agreements, liaising with internal portfolios and external partners.

About you

• 5 years’ experience in the Energy or Utilities sector
• Deep understanding of the National Energy Market and renewable energy fundamentals
• Proven ability to identify and develop commercial opportunities
• Excellent communication, analytical, and reporting skills
• Strong collaborative mindset and ability to work with diverse stakeholders
• Relevant tertiary degree in Commerce, Economics, or a related discipline
• You have a passion to be part of something bigger than yourself, that contributes to the delivery of a clean energy future crafted in Queensland.
