About the Opportunity

We are seeking a detail-oriented Commercial Advisor to join the CleanCo team in our Brisbane CBD office. 

In this newly created opportunity, you will provide crucial contractual, commercial, and analytical advice to support the management, negotiation, and operationalisation of CleanCo’s Renewable Offtake and Resources portfolio.  

Your advisory and insights will help drive our renewable energy strategy and support our growth in the market. You will monitor and analyse the renewable energy and resources market, identify trends and opportunities, and manage contracts to assist the Commercial Managers in executing the renewable energy and retail strategy. 

This is permanent opportunity and offers flexibility that includes 2 days of working from home. 

About you

To be successful in this opportunity you will have:

• Solid experience in the Energy or Utilities sector including knowledge of the National Energy Market.
• Strong understanding of energy market fundamentals, especially in renewable energy and gas markets.
• Previous experience supporting commercial arrangements and contract negotiations.
• Proven experience in identifying and developing commercial opportunities in the energy market.
• Tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Economics, or related discipline.
• Excellent communication and strong numerical, analytical, and interpretation skills.
• Previous reporting, contract management, and project tracking experience.
• Excellent consultation and collaboration skills across diverse stakeholders.
• Willingness to contribute broadly to the development and implementation of CleanCo’s Customer and Energy Strategy.
• You have a passion to be part of something bigger than yourself, that contributes to the delivery of a clean energy future crafted in Queensland.
